Here comes...Jesus!

“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.”

- Job 19:25

I just got done preaching this morning at Beechmont Baptist Church here in Louisville. This is going to be a very short post, because I am about to take a nap. I stayed up pretty late last night studying and doing sermon preparation.

I think it is appropriate to remind you that every Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In celebrating the resurrection I am also reminded that he is coming back. I want to emphasize to you today that truly in the end Jesus Christ will stand upon the Earth. He is coming back... Perhaps it will be this very next moment. Are you ready to meet your maker?

I pray that the Lord will convict your heart to prepare yourself to meet him, as the greater church is working to prepare the way for his return. Come Lord Jesus...Godspeed!

PS: This verse was written hundreds, if not thousands, of years before Jesus ever stepped foot on the Earth. Hallelujah!
