The Mediator In The Gap

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men.”

1 Timothy 2:5-6

A mediator acts to bring two parties together who are at war. As sinners we are at war with God.

We must never forget that since we are sinners at war with God we are separated from God. A huge gap exists. The truth is, without Jesus Christ we cannot even speak to God. Jesus Christ is the one standing in the gap interceding for us. He is the only one who can take you to the inner room to meet with God. Jesus brought us new life for precisely this reason. I must ask of you, "have you let Jesus take you to the inner room lately?" Have you allowed Jesus to mediate between you and the father?

Your prayer life needs a boost if you have been neglecting the mediator.
